FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Will my dental treatment hurt?
Modern anaesthetics mean treatment shouldn't hurt. If you ever feel discomfort, tell us and we'll stop and fix it — you're always in control.
How often should I get my teeth cleaned?
Every six months suits most people. If you're prone to gum disease, three-monthly cleans keep it under control.
Why do I need an x-ray?
X-rays reveal decay between teeth and problems under the gum that simply can't be seen by eye. Most patients only need them about every two years.
When should my child first visit the dentist?
From around age two — and definitely before the adult teeth start arriving around age six. Early visits are short, friendly and build confidence.
Do I really need to floss?
Yes — brushing alone misses roughly half of each tooth's surface. Once a day is enough.
Still have a question? Get in touch or call us on (02) 9677 1172 — we're happy to help.
